Devonte is a tall, versatile attacking midfielder, capable of playing off either wing or in the middle. He found himself riddled with injuries for two years before an injury-free 2014/15. He made his Manchester United Under-21 debut in September 2015 and was been a regular in the years after - playing in a variety of roles from deep centre midfield to a striker.
Devonte joined Scunthorpe United on loan for the first half of the 2017/18 season. He returned to Manchester United in January 2018 at the end of the loan having failed to break into Scunthorpe United's team.
Devonte was released by Manchester United in June 2018.
