Dominic Ball

Dominic Ball is a central defender currently playing in Tottenham’s Under-21 team.

Youth career

Ball joined Tottenham on a full time basis in 2011. He featured 17 times for Tottenham's Under-18 team during his first campaign. In the 2013-14 campaign Dominic made 16 appearances and scored one goal for the Under-21 team. Ball spent the first half of 2014-15 with Tottenham's Under-21 team, he made eight appearances and also captained the side on occasions. He was then loaned to Cambridge United in January 2015 where he made 11 appearances and claimed two assists. The majority of Dominic's appearances for Cambridge where from right back, a previously unfamiliar role for him, having never been positioned there for Tottenham's youth teams.

International

Dominic has represented Northern Ireland and England at international level. He has represented Northern Ireland at every level up to Under-21 level. He was called up to England's Under-19 squad in March 2014, making his debut in a friendly against Turkey. He then featured for England's Under-20 team on six occasions during the 2014-15 campaign before missing out on the Toulon Tournament due to injury.
