Isak Ssewankambo

Isak Ssewankambo is a defender/central midfielder currently playing in Derby County's Under-21 team.

Youth career

Ssewankambo started playing football as a five year old and played for several different Swedish teams, as well as spending two years at IFK Göteborg. However, at the age of fourteen he was playing for Lärje-Angereds IF in Sweden, which is where he had began playing nine years earlier. From here he moved to Chelsea for two years, before joining NAC Breda of the Dutch Eredivisie. Here he played 13 first team games. In January 2015, following a successful trial, he joined Derby County.

International

He has represented Sweden at U17, U19 and U21.

He won the 2014 FA Youth Cup with Chelsea, scoring a goal in the second leg of the final against Fulham.
