Youth career

Azzaoui joined Tottenham from Anderlecht in the summer of 2014. Ismail scored 9 goals in 18 games for Tottenham's Under-18 team and made 3 substitute appearances for the Under-21s during the 2014-15 campaign.

International

Azzaoui has earned 13 caps for the Belgium U17s, scoring 6 times. He made his debut for Belgium U17s against Spain in September 2014, and assisted the country in qualifying for the European Championships in Bulgaria in May of 2015. Ismail scored 3 goals at the finals, as Belgium were knocked out in the semi-finals.
