Steve Cooper

Steve Cooper is the Under-17 team manager of England.
Playing career
Cooper spent most of his playing career at Wrexham before moving into coaching.
Managerial career
He became Wrexham's head of youth and youth team coach in 2006 before joining Liverpool in 2008. During five years at the Anfield club, he spent time in head coaching roles at U7-U12 and U12-U16 before becoming Academy Manager in 2011. In October 2014, he left Liverpool to join the FA as the England Under-16s manager. He later moved up an age group to work with the Under-17s.
