Youth career

George was an unused substitute for Arsenal's youth team throughout 2014-15 while still an Under-15 and made his debut in 2016-17 as an Under-16. However, he was not extended the offer of a scholarship and instead joined Colchester United on a two-year scholarship in June 2016.
