2017 European Under-21 Championship

The 2017 European Under-21 Championship is being hosted by Poland and, unlike previous years, will feature an expanded 12-team format with three groups of four teams. Teams face each other once in the group stage before the group winners progress to the semi-finals along with the best runner-up.

Qualification

Qualification for the final tournament takes place in two stages, with the initial qualifying round staged from September 2015 through to October 2016 and the play-off round held in November 2016.
