Bright Enobakhare

Bright Enobakhare is a striker currently playing for the Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-21s and senior team.

Youth career

Bright began playing football in Nigeria, sometimes missing school lessons to get a game. He was 15 when he arrived in England, where he played first for his college, and then in Sunday League football. He was scouted by a few different clubs and had several trials before choosing Wolves.

He started the 2014-15 season well, scoring regularly for the Under-18 side. Towards the end of the season he made two appearances for the Under-21s, the first from the subs bench against Derby. He was taken on the 2015-16 first team pre-season fitness camp at Clairefontaine, and scored the late winner in the first friendly there, against Chambly. He also scored against Northampton in another pre-season first-team friendly. He then made his professional debut on 25 August in a 2-1 league cup second round victory over Barnet, scoring the first goal three minutes into the game. Further appearances were few and far between though, as Wolves went to a system with only one striker and signed Grant Holt on loan from Wigan. Under-21 appearances were infrequent too. Then Bright was given a few days off to deal with a personal matter, only to disappear altogether for almost a fortnight, before making contact and returning to training.
