Dominic Iorfa

Dominic Iorfa is a defender at Wolverhampton Wanderers. He is a regular in their U21 team, and has recently started playing for their first team.

Youth Career

Iorfa is the son of the Nigerian international striker of the same name. He joined the Wolves academy from Southend's youth system, joining as an Under-16 player.

Shrewsbury Town

Iorfa's first taste of league football came at League One Shrewsbury, as an 18 year old. He joined them on loan on 18 March 2014, and played seven times for them.

Wolves first team

After featuring regularly at U21 level, Dominic Iorfa made his Wolves full competitive début on 6 December 2014 at the age of 19. It was a Championship match against Bournemouth at Molineux, which Wolves eventually lost 1-2, having had two players sent off. Although he claims to feel most comfortable in the centre of defence, most if not all of his senior games have so far been at right back.

International

To date Iorfa has two England caps, one at U18 level and one at U20 level against Portugal away.
