Joe Riley

Joe Riley is a defender currently playing for Bradford City.

Youth career

Joe is a versatile footballer - he can play as a right back, right winger or in central midfield.

In the 2014/15 season, Joe found himself primarily used in midfield positions and was the Manchester United Under-18 team's leading assister. He made his Under-21 debut in September 2015 and found himself in a new role at left back, a position he retained during the season. In February 2016, Joe was included on the substitutes bench for the First Team away to FC Midtjylland and made his debut as a half time substitute in the FA Cup tie away at Shrewsbury Town. Joe made his first start in the return leg at home to FC Midtjylland.

In January 2017, Joe joined Sheffield United on loan for the remainder of the 2016/17 season.

In May 2018, Joe signed permanently for Bradford City.
