Youth career
Jonathan Helm got scouted by Middlesbrough at a very young age of 8, he had four seasons with them before getting released in the Under-12 season, he joined Boro again at Under-16 level and has played for Middlesbrough since. Jonathan made his Under-21 debut at the Riverside Stadium against Aston Villa on 03/03/2014.

Jonathan has represented England Under-17's in the Nordics Cup back in summer 2013.
