Scott McTominay

Scott McTominay is a midfielder currently playing for Manchester United.

Youth career

Scott is a clever central midfielder who had to be patient for chances in the Manchester United Under-18 team. Due to his size he played less than two hours of competitive Under-18 football in 2013/14. However, he returned for the start of the 2014/15 season having had a growth spurt and in between injuries, got a few more chances with the team.

In 2015/16 Scott was once again limited to chances, now with the Under-21 team but finally made his debut for the side as a substitute late in January 2016. He scored his first goal for the club in February 2016 away to Blackpool.

Due to first team injuries, Scott found himself named as a substitute for the home game against Swansea City for the 2016/17 season. He went on to make his debut as a substitute away to Arsenal and his first start came in the final game of the campaign at home to Crystal Palace.
