The Under-19s predominantly take part in the UEFA European Under-19 Championship.
The Under-18s tend not to feature in regular competitive games as the age group is not recognised by UEFA or FIFA. Their action is limited to occasional friendly matches.
The main competitive action for the Under-16s has historically taken the form of the annual Victory Shield competition, however the FA decided not to enter the Home Nations tournament ahead of the 2015-16 campaign. They now feature predominantly in tournaments such as the Montaigu Tournament and the UEFA Development Tournament.
