==Youth career==
Lewis, the son of former Nottingham Forest and England captain Des Walker and the younger brother of Forest's [[Tyler Walker]], spent time at several East Midlands clubs before settling at Ilkeston. Having impressed there, he earned trial spells with [[Chelsea]] and [[Leicester City]] before signing with Derby in January 2016.
