Youth career
Liam has been with Manchester United since he was 7 years old and has played in numerous positions during his time at the club. Although initially a midfielder, he's often found at right back or most recently at centre back, where he's performed well and often with the captain's armband on. With game time in 2013/14 limited, he joined Morecambe on loan at the end of March 2014.

Liam has represented England at Under-18 level.
