Playing career

Wilcox was a left winger who played 271 league games for Blackburn Rovers, picking up a league title win in the process. His other clubs were Leeds United, Leicester City and Blackpool. He also appeared 3 times for England.

Managerial career

He was appointed Under-18s Manager at Manchester City ahead of the 2013-14 season.
