Youth career

Finnie has been at the Wolves academy since the Under-9 team back in 2006. He has also played for Staffordshire County Schools FA representative sides. His father ran Uttoxeter Juniors, a Sunday league team, and so he began training with them when he was very young, training with an age group two years older. He has often played at a higher level to his age while at Wolves. He has also regularly captained sides.

International

He has represented Scotland at U16, U17 and U18 international, and was a member of their Victory Shield squad in 2013. He was also in the Under-17 Uefa Championship side which reached the semi-finals in Malta in 2014. He was born in England, but his family are Scottish.

Career statistics

He was part of the Wolves squad that won the 2015 Bitzer Cup in Germany.
