Azzaoui joined Tottenham from Anderlecht in the summer of 2014. Ismail scored nine goals in 18 games for Tottenham's Under-18 team and made three substitute appearances for the Under-21s during the 2014-15 campaign. Six of his nine goals came in Tottenham's run to the FA Youth Cup semi final, Ismail scored in every round but one including a hat trick against Blackburn Rovers. At the beginning of the 2015-16 campaign, Ismail was promoted to Ugo Ehiogu's under-21 team. He started the first two games of the season, and scored against Man City.
