Youth career
Jake is a left winger in Manchester United's Under-18 side. He began the 2014/15 injured but made his debut for the Under-18 side in the middle of November whilst still an Under-16. Due to a shortage of defenders, Jake reverted to a left back role in the 2015/16 season.

Jake has represented England at Under-15 level.
