Youth career
Dael signed for Middlesbrough at the mere age of 7 years old after being scouted at Cleveland Juniors in the north-east. Dael however, took a season out to re-join Cleveland Juniors for the Under-9 season, he later re-signed with Middlesbrough at Under-10 level and has been with the club since.
International
Dael has represented England at both Under-17 and 18 level.
