The 2018 European Under-19 Championship will be hosted by Finland from 16 July to 29 July and will feature eight sides split into two groups. Teams face each other once in the group stage before the top two sides in each group progress to the semi-finals, with the winner of Group A facing the runner-up of Group B, and the winner of Group B going up against Group A's second-placed team. The four semi-finalists plus hosts Poland and the winners of a third-place playoff will qualify as the UEFA representatives for the 2019 FIFA Under-20 World Cup.
