Azzaoui joined Tottenham from Anderlecht in the summer of 2014. Ismail scored nine goals in 18 games for Tottenham's Under-18 team and made three substitute appearances for the Under-21s during the 2014-15 campaign. Six of his nine goals came in Tottenham's run to the FA Youth Cup semi final, Ismail scored in every round but one including a hat trick against Blackburn.
