Youth career
Donovan Wilson joined the Bristol Rovers youth set-up at the age of eight, having been spotted playing for Bradley Stoke United. He was a regular in the Rovers U18 team during the 2013-14 season, and gained his first professional contract in May 2014. On the final day of the last loan transfer window of that year he joined Wolves. He has yet to play senior football, although he was an unused substitute for the Rovers first team on three occasions. The fee agreed between the two clubs is reported to be around £50,000 initially, but of course the value for both sides will be in the later add-ons.
