Youth career
Parry joined Wolves from Wrexham at the age of fourteen. At the end of his scholarship he was awarded his first professional contract, but subsequently was released and picked up by Stoke City. Wolves had been playing Parry as a winger, often on the left, a position in which he looked very right-footed. Stoke switched him to the centre, and he seems to be doing well there.

He represented Wales at U19.
