Youth career

O'Hanlon was spotted playing for Randlay Colts Junior Football Club and joined Wolves as an Under-10 in 2006. He was the only Wolves player to start every competitive U21 match in the 2014-15 season, and would probably have played every minute had he not been subbed off injured in a match against Stoke in May.

During the 2015-16 pre-season, Ben played half a game in a Crawley friendly against Burgess Hill, hoping to secure a loan.

International

He was in the England squad for the Victory Shield match against Northern Ireland in 2011, and made two appearances for the U16s, nine for the U17s and two for the U18s.

Career statistics

No data pre 2014-15. Wolves give no squad information for U18 apart from the FA Youth Cup. Correct up to end of 2014-15 season.

O'Hanlon received his first professional contract in February 2014. Just over a year later Wolves announced that they had taken up their option on a second year.
