Youth career
Ronan was captain of the Greater Manchester U16 team which won the English Schools FA Inter County Trophy in 2014, and was also named man of the match in the final. The team beat Lancashire 2-1 after extra time in the final at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on Saturday 15 March 2014, with Connor assisting for both goals. He was in the Rochdale youth setup, but moved on to Wolves in June 2014.
