Youth career
Sheyi joined Liverpool from MK Dons in 2011. On 2 February 2015, he penned a loan deal with Wigan Athletic, where he came on as a substitute to make his professional debut five years later and was rewarded for his impressive performance by being named man of the match. On 11 July, 2015, it was announced that the pacey winger would join Liverpool's first team on their pre-season tour of Thailand, Australia and Malaysia.
