Youth career
Ryan joined Tottenham as an Under-14. In the 2013-14 campaign he made a total of three youth team appearances and scored one goal as an Under-16. The tall centre forward made twenty seven appearances and scored thirteen goals for Tottenham's Under-18 side in the 2014-15 season. He was also part of the Tottenham teams that won the Premier League Under-18 Champions Cup in August 2015, where he netted the winner against Benfica in the final, and the IMG Cup in December 2014. The tall striker continued his good goalscoring record in the 2015-16 campaign and netted braces against Chelsea and Southampton early in the season.
