Youth career
Darren Junior is a midfielder capable of playing on either wing or centrally. Comfortable on the ball and with a good turn of pace, he has a reputation for being creative, expressive and dangerous form set pieces.
Having started his career at Arsenal he joined Fulham in his early teens and broke into their Under-18 side whilst he was still an Under-15 in 2013/14. He continued his development up an age group in the 2014/15 season and decided not to sign a scholarship with the club. He went on trial with Manchester United for the start of the 2015/16 season and impressed in three Under-18 league games, assisting three goals. His trial was cut short due to a groin injury but once fit again he signed permanently for United in November 2015.
