Youth career
Aliou is a central midfielder who signed for Manchester United for the 2017-18 season from Sarcelles A.A.S. having previously been at Paris Saint-Germain. He had to wait until December 2017 for international clearance but did also have an injury for the opening months of the season.
Aliou was sent off against Derby County in the FA Youth Cup for kicking out at a player in December 2017. Aliou made his Under-23 debut in February 2018.
He scored his first goal for Manchester United in an Under-18 game away to West Brom in September 2018.
Aliou joined Caen on loan for the 2020/21 season.
