Regan Upton

Regan Upton is a midfielder/defender currently playing in the Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-18 team, and just starting to get games for the U21s.

Youth career

Upton joined Wolves from Burton Albion aged fifteen, in 2012. He was seen as a "strong-tackling midfield player", however at the start of the 2014-15 season he filled in as a central defender for a game and did well. Consequently, when he made his debut for the U21s on 9 January 2015 it was as a central defender alongside Ashley Carter (in a match at Molineux against West Brom which finished 0-0). He has continued to appear as a central defender since.
