Anthony Breslin is a defender currently playing for the Wolverhampton Wanderers Under-21 team.
|Full Name||Anthony Patrick Breslin|
|Date of Birth||13 February 1997|
|Place of Birth||Blanchardstown, Dublin|
|Current club||Wolverhampton Wanderers|
|Previous club/s||St Kevin’s Boys Club, Dublin|
Breslin's father was a coach for a local team in Dublin and the youngster trained with them. He was kicking a ball from the moment he could walk. He played for a team called St Kevin's and was spotted by Wolves when he played in a Dublin district team in the Kennedy Cup. He began playing for Wolves at U16 level, travelling backwards and forwards across the Irish Sea. Then he was offered a scholarship and moved across full time. He was also a keen Gaelic footballer but had to give that up on joining Wolves.
He has represented the Republic of Ireland regularly at youth levels, including six games in the UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
No data pre 2014-15. Wolves give little squad information for U18 apart from the FA Youth Cup. Correct up to 13 November 2015.

He must be in his first year as a professional, as last year was his second as a scholar. No contract details seem to have been announced though.
