Youth career

Walkes joined Tottenham as an Under-14. The versatile midfielder/defender made eighteen starts for Tottenham’s Under-18 team and found the net three times during the 2013-14 campaign. He made his Under-21 debut as a substitute against Stoke on January 17, 2014. In the 2014-15 season Anton started twenty three times in the Under-18 Premier League and also started all six of Tottenham’s FA Youth Cup matches at left back. Anton also started three times for the Under-21s, most notably against Man United at Old Trafford in March 2015.
