Youth career

Reid came through the Wrexham Centre of Excellence and made his debut for The Dragons in a match against AFC Telford United in the 2012-13 season. He signed a three-year deal for Wrexham towards the end of that season, but moved to Wolves in September 2013 for an initial five-figure sum, although with add-ons the fee could in time rise to £200,000. He has yet to make an appearance for the first-team, but appears regularly for the U21 team.

On 13 March 2015 it was announced that he was joining AFC Telford United on loan for the rest of the season. He appeared regularly for the Bucks, but was publicly criticised by manager Steve Kittrick, particularly with regard to a perceived lack of effort.

The 2015-16 season began with Reid impressing pre-season, and then scoring three times in as many games in the U21 Premier League. In the third of these, at Fulham, he was injured and missed several games.

International

He has represented Wales at U15, U16, U17, U19 and U21.
