Youth career

Cameron made his youth team debut while still an Under-16 in 2013-14, he went on to make 28 appearances in the campaign. Cameron made a further 11 starts for the Under-18 team and appeared on nine occasions for the Under-21s during the 2014-15 campaign. While still a first year scholar, Carter-Vickers was appointed captain of the Under-21s in March 2015. During the 2015-16 pre-season Cameron appeared for Tottenham's first team in behind-closed-doors friendlies against Brentford and Reading.

International

Cameron has represented the USA up to Under-23 level. He impressed at the 2015 Under-20 World Cup, starting all of the USA's games as they were knocked out in the quarter finals. He is also eligible represent England.
