Youth career
Jed joined Norwich as a 9 year old. He got to play once for their first team, on 28 January 2012, in a fourth round FA Cup 2–1 victory against West Bromwich Albion, and also played some first-team football while out on loans. He became a free agent in July 2013 and Villa signed him. Once again though, his only first-team action has been in a cup game for Villa and some lower-league loans.

He was an English youth international at U16, U17, and U19.
