Youth career
Junior was scouted by Middlesbrough at the age of 11 whilst he was playing for Boro Rangers in the north-east. He has been on standby for the England Under-17's in the Nordics last year in August, 2014.

Contract
Junior started his two-year scholarship at Middlesbrough at the beginning of the 2013-2014 campaign. He signed his first professional contract with the club on September 19th 2014 on a three-year-deal.
