Youth career

Keanan made his youth team debut while still an Under-16 in 2014-15, he went on to make three appearances and scored one goal in the campaign. Bennetts began the 2015-16 campaign as a regular for the Under-18s and created two goals in a 2-2 draw with Aston Villa in September 2015.

International

Bennetts has represented England at Under-17 and Under-16 level and Germany at Under-15 level. He scored for England in the final of the Montaigu Tournament against France in April 2015. The winger impressed in the 2015 FA International Tournament, where he registered three assists in as many games.

Bennetts is also eligible to represent Nigeria.
