Youth career

Several of Zanzala's first few years were spent in a country undergoing a terrible civil war. His family managed to get out to Austria, and later moved to England. He joined Derby as a 12 year old.

Contract

Zanzala signed a professional contract in March 2015, as he neared the end of his scholarship. He is signed up until 2017.
