Youth career
He joined Bishops Castle as a seven year old. At ten he came through a six-week trial at Wolves, joining the club almost exactly on his eleventh birthday.
International
Sam represented Wales in the 2014 Victory Shield. They won the competition outright, the first time Wales had done this since the 1948-49 season.
