Declan joined Wolves at the U14 level. He has yet to be selected in a first-team competitive matchday squad, but he has been on a pre-season first-team tour. So far in the 2014-15 season he has appeared in every competitive U21 fixture, starting all but one of them.

Declan has played for Wales at various agegroups, including U19.
