==Youth career==
Joshua progressed steadily through the ranks at Villa before grabbing attention in the 2011-12 campaign as he featured regularly in the Under-19 [[NextGen Series]] competition, despite still only being 16. The following season, despite a four-month injury layoff, he played in the semi-final and final of the same competition as Villa claimed the European crown. He has been a regular with the Under-21s since.

Webb has represented England at Under-16, Under-17 and Under-18 level.
