The 2014 European Under-17 Championship is being hosted by Malta from 9 May to 21 May and features eight sides split into two groups. Teams face each other once in the group stage before the top two sides in each group progress to the semi-finals, with the winner of Group A facing the runner-up of Group B, and the winner of Group B going up against Group A's second-placed team. Qualification
Qualification for the final tournament took part in two stages, with the initial qualifying round staged across September, October and November 2013 and the elite round of qualification being held in March 2014. For more on the qualification rounds for the Championships, see 2014 European Under-17 Championship (Qualifying).
The eight teams taking part are: England, Germany, Malta, Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland, Switzerland, Turkey
