Premier League Cup

The Premier League launched this new cup competition for the Under-21 age group ahead of the 2013-14 season, with 52 academies entering at the qualifying stages. The age parameters were adjusted to Under-23 for the 2016/17 season in line with changes made to the league programme, then back to Under-21 in 2022.
