Youth career
Josh is a versatile midfielder most at home in the centre of the team where he can get on the ball regularly. He can play out wide or higher up behind a striker if needed. He takes set pieces and penalties too.
Josh is neat, tidy and creative, reflected in the fact he finished the 2013/14 season as the Manchester United Under-18 side's leading assister. Although his season was disrupted by an injury, he finished the campaign in the Under-21 side, featuring on the bench on at least a half a dozen occasions.
In 2014/15 Josh was been a regular in the Under-21 side when fit and continued to be selected in the side going into the 2015/16 season.
