2015-16 Under-21 Premier League Cup

The 2015-16 Under-21 Premier League Cup is the third campaign of the new knockout cup competition launched by the Premier League. 46 academies will take part in this season's competition, with Category 1 academies joining in the round of 32.

Qualifying Round 1

The first qualifying round features 11 Category 3 sides competing on a regional basis. Due to the odd number of teams at this stage, Peterborough United were awarded a bye to the second qualifying round.

Qualifying Round 2

The second qualifying round of the competition sees the five winners from the first qualifying round, as well as the side awarded a bye, joined by 17 Category 2 teams. One Category 2 team will receive a bye to the Round of 32 due to the odd number of teams involved. Ties are due to be played by 19 October 2015.

Round of 32

The 12 qualifying round winners are joined by 19 Category 1 teams at this stage, with one Category 1 side receiving a bye to the last-16. The five Category 1 teams not taking part in the competition are Arsenal, Aston Villa, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham. Ties are due to be played by 23 November 2015.
