Youth career
George is a midfielder who is most comfortable on the right wing but can also play in the middle. It was in a central role that he made his first Under-18 appearance against Middlesbrough in December 2015 whilst still an Under-16. Towards the end of the 2015/16 season, George scored his first goal for the Under-18 side, away to Norwich City.
International
George has represented England at Under-17 level.
