The 2015 Under-20 World Cup is the 20th campaign of FIFA's global tournament at this age level and is being hosted by New Zealand, running from 30 May to 20 June. Teams face each other once in the group stage before the winners and runners-up in each of the five groups pair up in the round of 16.

South America's four sides come from the 2015 South American Youth Championship, while Oceania's sole participant is from the 2014 OFC Under-20 Championship. New Zealand take one of the 24 berths without the need to qualify, as hosts of the tournament.
