Ben is a central midfielder who's been with Manchester United since he was 9. He's a box-to-box central midfielder known for his tough tackling and work-rate but his ability on the ball is of a high standard too. He's had a very successful central midfield partnership with team-mate, [[Joe Rothwell]], for both club and country. He missed a large portion of the 2011/12 season due to glandular fever.

Ben progressed extremely well over the 2012/13 season and even captained an Under-18 side for his country. He ended that season in [[Warren Joyce]]'s Under-21 side.

Despite being fully fit for the duration of the 2013/14 season, opportunities in the Under-21 side were limited until 2014 due to the size of [[Warren Joyce]]'s squad. Youth career

Ben is a central midfielder who's been with Manchester United since he was 9. He's a box-to-box central midfielder known for his tough tackling and work-rate but his ability on the ball is of a high standard too. He's had a very successful central midfield partnership with team-mate, Joe Rothwell, for both club and country. He missed a large portion of the 2011/12 season due to glandular fever.

Ben progressed extremely well over the 2012/13 season and even captained an Under-18 side for his country. He ended that season in Warren Joyce's Under-21 side.

Despite being fully fit for the duration of the 2013/14 season, opportunities in the Under-21 side were limited until 2014 due to the size of Warren Joyce's squad.
